Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia says his goal against Empoli in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 was the best one he has ever scored in his career and insists that playing for the Nerazzurri was his childhood dream.

The 34-year-old will likely leave the Nerazzurri at the end of his contract in June but has one last chance to win a trophy with the club in the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus tonight.

“The Coppa is the first trophy I won with the Nerazzurri. I have great memories of the Final against Palermo. It was thrilling to share the pitch with the heroes of the treble,” he said in an interview on the match programme.

Juventus and Inter are preparing for the Coppa Italia Final, but only a few fans have shown up outside their hotels in Rome today.

The Serie A giants meet at the Stadio Olimpico tonight in one of the most awaited games of the season. The Bianconeri want to avoid finishing the season empty-handed for the first time since 2010-11, while Inter are en route to winning a domestic treble.

Presidents Andrea Agnelli and Steven Zhang met at the Juventus Hotel Parco Dei Principi in the morning (VIDEO). It’s the same place where Roberto Mancini’s Italy stayed during the Euros last summer.

Not many fans were spotted outside the teams’ hotels in Rome this morning, but many more will be at the Stadio Olimpico tonight, with 72,000 supporters expected at the stadium, which will be sold out.

Inter President Steven Zhang and Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli met at the Bianconeri hotel in Rome this morning, hours before the Coppa Italia Final.

Juventus and Inter meet at the Stadio Olimpico at 20.00 UK time tonight. However, there was a preliminary gathering in the morning when Agnelli and Zhang met at the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi, where the Bianconeri are staying.

A few Old Lady’s fans have been spotted outside the Juventus hotel, but no player has shown up yet. Despite the clubs’ rivalry on the pitch, Agnelli and Zhang are on very good terms and the Juventus’ No.1 often praised his Inter counterpart in the past.
