Juventus and Inter compared: Who has the most valuable squad and more

Juventus and Inter meet in the Coppa Italia Final today and although the Bianconeri have a more valuable squad, the Nerazzurri can count on more experienced players.

The two sides meet at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome tonight and while Juventus will try to end the season with at least one trophy in their hands, the defending Serie A champions will be looking for their second piece of silverware this term.

Inter are unbeaten against Juventus this season and could win three games in a row against the Bianconeri for the first time since 1929-30.

Tuttomercatoweb analysed the two squads highlighting that the Bianconeri can count on a slightly more valuable squad: €555m against Inter’s €529m. The average value of Bianconeri players is €22m, €1m more than Inter’s (considering 25 players per team).

The Bianconeri’s annual gross wage bill is circa €170m, while the Nerazzurri spend €140m to pay their players’ salaries.

Max Allegri has a younger squad (27-year-old on average) than Inzaghi (circa 30-year-old) and the Benamata also have more foreign players than the Old Lady: 17 (68%) to 14 (56%).
