Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) produced a sensational sprint from distance to win Stage 4 of the Giro d’Italia as Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers) was denied.
Ganna, having briefly appeared in the day’s breakaway, launched with 4km remaining on the run to Andora and looked good for victory as he crested the final climb with a healthy lead.
